Why should I choose Grace At Home Care?

As a local, family-owned agency, we are committed to providing the highest quality of in-home care, which allows you to enjoy the independence and dignity of living within the comfort of your own home.

Our commitment to unparalleled quality of care also means that we only hire professional, compassionate caregivers who are at the top of their field, making Grace at Home significantly different from other home care providers.

Lastly, at Grace at Home Care we work closely with you to develop a customized home care plan that fits your unique circumstances and goals. We will also modify the plan over time as your needs evolve.

Does medical insurance reimburse for non-medical home care services?

Although medical insurance does not typically cover non-medical home care services, many long-term care insurance policies do reimburse for private home care. We will provide you with weekly bills you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Veterans also may qualify for assistance through Veterans Aid and Attendance benefits.

Does your agency provide transportation?

Yes, our caregivers can provide transportation for errands, outings, and appointments using either your car or their own car.

Do I have to commit to a minimum number of care hours per week or per visit?

We will work with you to create a schedule that best meets your needs. Care windows can be as few as two hours (our minimum) or as long as 24 hours. We have no requirements regarding the number of visits you schedule per week.

Can I cancel my service at any time?

We require a 72-hour notification to terminate service. You can also modify your care plan at any time as your needs evolve.

Can I change my service schedule?

Yes, you can change your service schedule anytime with 72-hour notice.

Are your caregivers insured, bonded, licensed, and background checked?

Yes, each of our caregivers are insured, bonded and licensed – for your protection and ours. Moreover, each applicant must pass a rigorous background check that includes a national criminal background check, reference verification, drug testing, motor vehicle background check, and an in-person interview.

What if my caregiver is not a good fit for me?

We work very hard to place each client with a caregiver who is a strong match for their needs and circumstances. However, if your caregiver is not the best fit for you, please contact your Care Manager or our office, and we will happily assign you a different caregiver.

What if I need to contact Grace at Home after hours?

We have support staff available by phone around the clock every single day of the year.
